Perun The Trader ("we", "our", or "the app") is an automated cryptocurrency trading application for Android. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your data.
Data Collection and Usage
What We Collect
The app stores the following data locally on your device only:
- Exchange API Keys: Your cryptocurrency exchange API key and secret, used solely to execute trades on your behalf via the exchange's official API.
- Trading Configuration: Your trading strategy settings, pair selections, and risk parameters.
- Trade History: Logs of trades executed by the bot, stored locally for your review.
What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.).
- We do not use analytics, tracking, or telemetry of any kind.
- We do not display advertisements.
- We do not collect device identifiers or location data.
- We do not transmit any of your data to our servers — we have no servers.
Internet Usage
The app requires an internet connection exclusively to communicate with cryptocurrency exchanges (such as Binance, Bybit, OKX, etc.) via their official public APIs. All network traffic is:
- Encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
- Sent directly from your device to the exchange's servers.
- Limited to trade execution, price data retrieval, and account balance queries.
No data is sent to any other destination.
Data Storage and Security
- All credentials (API keys, secrets) are stored locally on your device in an encrypted SQLite database.
- Data is stored in the app's private internal storage, inaccessible to other apps.
- No data is backed up to cloud services by the app itself (Android system backup behavior is governed by your device settings).
Third-Party Services
The app connects to third-party cryptocurrency exchanges based on your configuration. Each exchange has its own privacy policy and terms of service. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any exchange you connect to.
The app does not integrate with any:
- Advertising networks
- Analytics platforms
- Social media SDKs
- Crash reporting services
Data Retention and Deletion
All data is stored locally. You can delete all app data at any time by:
- Clearing the app's data in Android Settings → Apps → Perun The Trader → Storage → Clear Data.
- Uninstalling the app, which removes all associated data from your device.
Children's Privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13. It is a financial trading tool intended for adult users who understand the risks of cryptocurrency trading.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and distributed with app updates.
